	At 2 kms before the finish, stage leader Francisco PEREZ was sent the wrong way by the course marshals. He ended up on the team car deviation road before he realised his mistake, and eventually crossed the finish line in 48th position, 5 minutes behind winner Laurent DUFAUX. By jury decision, both PEREZ and DUFAUX were declared stage winners.

Race Comment
