	Alessandro PETACCHI initially ended 128th in stage 4, but tested positive for the use of Salbutamol later in this Giro. He is therefore disqualified from this stage and does not earn any CQ points. Aketza PENA IZA initially ended 64th in stage 4, but tested positive for the use of Nandrolone after stage 1 of the Giro del Trentino. He is therefore disqualified from this stage and does not earn any CQ points.
