	Gilberto SIMONI tested positive for the use of Cocaine before the start of the Giro del Trentino 2002 and on 21 May, after stage 9 of the Giro d'Italia 2002. His results in the Giro d'Italia 2002 from stage 9 onwards have been erased even though Simoni did not receive an official punishment.
