Constantino ZABALLA tested positive for the use of Ephedrine in the Vuelta a Asturias on 2 May 2010. He was suspended by the Spanish federation for 9 months, until 19 June 2012.
Zaballa tested a second time positive for Hemoal in an out of competition control in May 2014. This time he was suspended for 5 years by the Spanish Federation, until 11 December 2019.
