Stefan SCHUMACHER initially won the Rheinland-Pfalz Rundfahrt in 20h01'47". After stage 4b however, he tested positive for the use of Cathin. Schumacher did not receive a ban from the German cycling federation, but his winning time in the I.T.T. and, subsequently, in the general classification was raised with 1'33". Therefore Schumacher lost his win in the time trial and in the general classification.
