In July 2009, Thomas DEKKER was accused by the UCI of apparent violation of the Anti-Doping Rules, on the basis of the information provided by the blood profile in his biological passport. In a re-test on a urine sample from December 2007, he tested positive for Recombinant EPO.
In March 2010, Dekker was suspended for 2 years by the Monaco federation, until 1 July 2011.
