Iljo KEISSE tested positive during the Six Days of Ghent, at 23 November 2008. In March 2009, he was suspended for 2 years by the Belgian federation.
End 2009, his ban was lifted because of insufficient scientific evidence, and Keisse was able to retrun into the pro peloton. After an appeal by the WADA, in July 2010 the CAS overturned the decision of the Belgian federation, and confirmed that Keisse has to serve his 2-year ban. Now his ban ends at 6 August 2011 worldwide, but in Belgium until 27 January 2012.
