Andrei SARTASSOV raced with a Russian license until January 2011. From then on, he had an Chilean passport.
SARTASSOV tested positive for the use of epo in the 3rd stage of the Vuelta por un Chile Lider, on 18 March 2007. He was suspended for 2 years by the Russian federation, until 2 July 2009.
