Aketza PENA IZA tested positive for the use of Nandrolone in the Giro del Trentino, April 2007. He was suspended for 2 years by the UCI until August 9, 2009
In July 2008, he was cleared of nandrolone use by CAS, because of irregularities with the Athens lab, and his suspension was lifted.
