	Race Comment
	Stage 4 of the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya was shortened from a 197.3-km route between Barruera and the Coll de Pal; however, a general strike being run on the stage's day in Spain made part of the peloton to position themselves in favour of the workers supporting the strike. Therefore, the stage was reduced to a 52-km route, entirely into Andorran soil.
